NEWS: Today, USD 456 was notified that a student at the elementary building has tested positive for COVID-19. In consultation with OCHD, due to their interaction with others occurring at school while masked, there are not any other resulting home quarantines amongst staff or students.
However, given the close nature of the student interaction and the ability to cohort, the district is instituting a "cohort schedule" for 3rd grade students. Parents of those students are to be contacted today by school staff and we will discuss the specifics of the schedule with parents directly.
This does not affect any other grade level in the district.
