We are currently having issues receiving calls at the JH/HS Building in Melvern. Calling out isn't an issue, but both phone lines incoming are going straight to voicemail. We believe this is an issue with the phone company. Please e-mail LeeAnn at lsamsel@usd456.org or Mr. Gordon at bgordon@usd456.org if you need to get in touch with us. Sorry for the inconvenience!
ELEMENTARY PARENTS - Tomorrow, January 20 is the last day to pay for afternoon milk, K-2. $32.00 is the cost of the semester. Please contact the office at 785-759-3512 if you have any questions.

REMINDER: No school tomorrow, January 18, 2021. Enjoy the extended weekend students!
NOTIFICATION: USD 456 was notified that a student from another school that came in contact with multiple high school students from our building during an extra-curricular activity has tested positive for COVID-19. In coordination with county health departments, due to the timing of the contact and when the individual developed symptoms, it has been determined no students or staff need to quarantine from the school-based interaction.
USD 456 continues to encourage students, parents, and staff to stay vigilant about their health, stay home when symptomatic, mask up when in public, and maintain appropriate hygiene during the course of the day.
As a reminder, COVID-19 testing is available for symptomatic individuals. Contact our school buildings if you would like to arrange a test.
Thank you for your cooperation!
