Due to the expected heat index Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the high school football team will begin practice at 5:30.
NOTIFICATION: Beginning Monday, August 23rd, 2021, in order for USD 456 to comply with orders from the federal government, anyone who rides on district transportation will be required to wear a face covering during the duration of transport. This includes, but is not limited to, students and staff who ride a bus or are transported via district vehicle for extra-curricular activities. Disposable masks will be available for use for persons not in possession of a face covering when loading onto district transportation.

The menu at the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL has a few changes for Monday's breakfast and lunch. You can always check the dining section of our website and app for the menu at both schools.
NOTIFICATION: The USD 456 Board of Education has an opening for a new board member. The vacant seat is for District 2, Seat 2, which includes the City of Melvern in its' boundaries. There have been a few menu changes at the ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The lunch menu for August 19 and the breakfast and lunch menus for August 23 have changed. Please see graphic or the dining section of our app for full menus.

Please send a water bottle with your students for the first day of school. The school will not be providing them.
Tomorrow in the high school cafeteria at 6:00 PM there will be a fall sports meeting for parents and athletes involved in JH Volleyball, JH Football, HS Volleyball and HS Football. Coaches will be presenting rules and expectations for the upcoming seasons! GO TROJANS!

REMINDER: The JH/HS will be having a Fall Sports Parent Meeting on Wednesday, August 11th at 6pm in the big gym. All parents of fall sports participants are highly encouraged to attend. Rules and regulations will be shared, but also sport specific meetings will be held. Ready to start our seasons!
NOTIFICATION: With the change to federal funding for the district's food service program, we have received inquiries from parents about the process for requesting a refund for the amount remaining in their student's food service account. In response, the district has a set up an easy form to request this refund.

However, please be aware students will still be charged for second meals and extra milk if they choose to do so. To make these purchases, either a charge will be made to the student's food service account if funds are available or the student will need to provide immediate payment at the time of purchase.
Requests for refunds need to be received by August 31st, 2021.
