On Thursday, November 9, 2023, students from area schools traveled to Emporia Flint Hills Technical College for Apply FREE Kansas. Here seniors were able to apply for their FSA ID, College Applications, and Scholarships with the support of college representatives and tech support to help assist them. The following students from MdCV attend this event: Brooke Spillman, Aydin Deeter, Jaxson Dorr, Haylea Bethell, Mason Rose, and Kelsey Rice.

We are thrilled to announce our teacher of the year, Judy Lacey. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
Judy is currently our 4th-grade teacher. She has been our 4th-grade teacher for the last 13 years. Before that, she was a Kindergarten and First-grade teacher here at MdCV.
Judy loves being a teacher which has always been her goal. Seeing the “light bulb” come on with her students is what keeps her excited about teaching each and
every day! She knows the potential her students have is limitless!
