MdCV is Seeking Substitute Teachers!
MdCV Schools are seeking qualified substitute teachers to support our students this school year.
Pay: $130 per day
Apply: Central Office, 105 SW Main St, Melvern, KS
Qualifications (per KSDE): KSDE Standard & Emergency Substitute License Requirements
Must hold a Kansas Teaching License OR
Hold a Kansas Emergency Substitute License (requires at least 60 college credit hours from a regionally accredited institution)

Hello MdCV Families,

My name is Mr. Ford, and I am truly honored to serve as the new principal of Marais des Cygnes Valley Jr./Sr. High School. I come to you with over 25 years of experience in education—as a teacher, coach, and administrator—and I’m excited to join a district and community that values relationships, student success, and small-town pride.

My wife Amanda and I live in Lebo, and we have four children—two of whom are still students here at MdCV. As both a parent and principal, I care deeply about the experiences our students have each day. I look forward to building strong connections with our families and continuing the great work already happening at MdCV.
