USD 456 is proud to announce it has been selected for a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency providing $25,000 to the school district to partially fund the purchase of a new school bus!
The program, the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act, provides select school districts across the United States with funds to scrap and replace older model busses for more fuel efficient and cleaner emission models. The school district has already taken the steps to order a new bus that meets these specifications and expects to receive delivery during the course of the 2022-2023 school year.
Marais des Cygnes Valley is very excited about the opportunity and looks forward to the replacement of our aging school bus fleet!
